One of the primary concerns of any brand looking to go global is cross-border logistics – from cost concerns to tracking to customs regulations. Luckily, UCS not only helps you sort all of this out, our team will make sure it's easy.
We handle every part of the process including international customs clearance, product classification, third party screening, parcel fulfillment, and returns. No matter where your customers are in the world, they will have access to package tracking the moment a parcel leaves one of our warehouses.
Indirect Third-Party Transport
With this option, each buyer is given a UCS warehouse address, which is provided as soon as an account is created. This address is used during the Buyer's checkout. The merchant then ships the orders to the UCS warehouse in the USA, where everything turns into business as usual. After that, UCS will takeover and ensure your products are shipped anywhere in the globe. You can even track the package from shipment to delivery.
With this option, the Merchant's checkout system is integrated with the UCS warehouse address in the USA, which acts as a default ship-to destination for selected countries. The final shipping information (global address and receiver information) is sent to UCS via our API, which allows us to prepare the global shipping. This option is incredibly helpful for when the Buyer only needs to interface with the Merchant without maintaining a separate user account with UCS.
This is for Merchants who want UCS fully integrated with their backend system so that they are able to print out UCS global shipping labels directly after an order is filled. This is the most automated option we have, which basically allows the Merchant to hand over all global packages to UCS for distribution and forwarding. It is an end-to-end order tracking solution – from processing to shipment to delivery.
